Coyote Cross Country Season Wrap-Up
VERMILLION, S.D. -- The University of South Dakota cross country teams finished their first season at the NCAA Division I level with a successful showing at the Great West Conference Cross Country Championships held on Saturday, Nov. 1 in Orem, Utah.
That meet was highlighted by a second-place finish for the Coyote women’s team and a fourth-place finish by the Coyote men’s team.

NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- The University of South Dakota’s Ramsey Fitzsimmons was named Great West Conference Runner of the Year along with Daniel Martinez from Houston Baptist University. They also earned the final runner of the week award after both claimed individual titles last weekend at the inaugural conference championship, the league office announced Wednesday.

OREM, UTAH: The University of South Dakota’s women’s cross country team finished second while the men finished fourth at the inaugural Great West Conference Championship in Orem, Utah on Saturday morning. USD’s Ramsey Fitzsimmons won the women’s race while Rob Gregorie led the men with a seventh place finish.
