Two University of South Dakota women's golfers finished in the top ten as the Coyotes finished fourth with a total of 707 (358-349), just two strokes out of third place, at the Nebraska Wesleyan Fall Invitational Sept. 29-30.
Jenny Chandler shot a two-round total of 170 (87-83) to finish sixth and Nora Remily shot a 171 (88-83) for seventh place. Other South Dakota scores included: Stephanie Hawley, 16th, 182 (93-89), Lacey Weber, 18th, 184 (90-94), and Jamie Boehmer, 22nd, 201 (99-102).
Truman State won the invitational with a 664 (340-324) and Nebraska-Omaha came in second with a 687 (353-334). Other team totals were Nebraska Kearney, third, 705 (357-348) and Rockhurst, fifth, 783 (402-381). Carla Dobchuk of Nebraska-Kearney was the individual medalist with a two-day total of 155 (77-78).
