Track & Field Team Breaks Two Records At Drake Relays

Men win sprint medley relay in 3:18.32, a new school and state record.

DES MOINES, Iowa - The University of South Dakota men's track and field team had two impressive showings at the second day of competition at the Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa, on Friday. The men's sprint medley relay team, consisting of Michael Williams, Ronnie McDougle, John Kehoe, and Andrew Neugebauer, broke the school and state record by posting a time of 3:18.32. That mark broke the state record of 3:20.07 held by Augustana.

The men also qualified for the finals in the 4x400 meter relay by posting a time of 3:12.22. The team consisted of McDougle, Lee Lockwood, Neugebauer, and Kehoe. The finals are to be held on Saturday.
