AMES, Iowa - Jen Feely of the South Dakota women's track and field team finished third in the 5000-meter run at the Iowa State Open.

Other Coyotes' women's team results included: Tonya Kneifl, 9th, long jump (17'07); Brianne Vette, 12th, long jump (17'06); Mandi Muller, 7th, weight throw (50'02) and Leslie Ragland, 10th, weight throw (44'00).

The results for the men's team included: men's distance medley relay, 14th, 10:39.67; Chris Slatt, 8th, long jump (22'11.25); Chad Rohde, 9th, long jump (22'07.25).
