Ran a 16:44 in the 5,000 meters at the Alumni Meet (1/23), but sat out the rest of the season with an injury...earned GWC Academic All-Conference honors for indoor track.
2008-09:
Placed eighth (34:49) in the 10,000 meters at the Great West Outdoor Championships...ran season best time of 15:55 in the 5,000 meters at the Howard Wood Relays.
Prep:
Placed 21st at state cross country meet senior year...was named Academic All-State...named teams distance MVP and Captian.
Personal:
Son of Tom and Jan Beare...born Sept. 16, 1989...chemistry major.
