Volunteer Assistant Coach - Jumps

Colte Haines enters his second season as a volunteer assistant for jumps on the South Dakota track and field team.
In his first season with the program, Haines helped guide the Coyotes to indoor team titles on both the men's and women's side at the Great West Conference meet. The men and women both claimed second at the outdoor conference meet.
A 2008 graduate of South Dakota, Haines earned an NCAA postgraduate scholarship after being named to the 2007 ESPN The Magazine Academic All-American team. He earned his bachelor's degree in mathematics and computer science.
Haines is a native of White Lake, S.D., and is currently pursuing his master's in computer science.
