Vermillion, S.D. – The South Dakota women’s 4x800-meter relay broke the school and facility record to lead a pack of impressive performances by the Coyote track and field teams at the John Dalton Meet on Saturday in the DakotaDome. Multiple USD student-athletes posted season-best marks to improve their position on the Great West Conference Performance Lists.

Vermillion, S.D. - The South Dakota track and field teams continue a hectic schedule by competing in two meets for the second consecutive weekend. Some Coyotes will return to Lincoln for a second time this indoor season for the Frank Sevigne Invitational on Friday and Saturday, while the rest of the USD squads will host the John Dalton Meet on Saturday. Erickson Paces Coyotes at Wisconsin
Madison, Wis. – Sophomore Emma Erickson won the 800-meter run and several other South Dakota track and field members improved their standing on the Great West Conference performance lists on Saturday at the Wisconsin Elite Invitational at the Camp Randall Memorial Sports Center. The USD men finished fourth in the team scoring with 121 points, while the women claimed fifth with 97. The host Badgers won on both sides.
