2009-10 USD Men’s & Women’s Track and Field Teams

USD Track and Field Teams Claim Academic Honors
New Orleans – The U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) have named the University of South Dakota track and field squads to its 2010 All-Academic teams, the organization announced on Wednesday. Teams must post a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or better to earn the distinction.

Miles and Shade Represent USD Well at USA Championships
Des Moines, Iowa – Coyote track and field members Derek Miles and Casey Shade fared well at the USA Championships at Drake Stadium, but both missed standout performances by the smallest of margins. Miles finished second in the senior division of the pole vault, while Shade was ninth in the junior division of the 800 meters.
