Softball Team Drops 2-1 Pitchers' Duel To Concordia of Minnesota

Coyotes suffer third straight loss; now 3-3 on young season.

ORLANDO, Fla. - Once again, the Coyotes' bats were silent as South Dakota lost to Concordia (Minn.), 2-1, in a pitching duel on Wednesday afternoon in Orlando, Fla. Paige Dopp of Concordia limited the Coyotes to one run on three hits in gaining the win. Despite taking her second loss in three games, Tiffany Hill (Sioux Falls, S.D.) pitched a strong game, allowing only two hits in six innings. She allowed just two unearned runs and had three strikeouts with just one walk. Kara Bolte (Ralston, Neb.) had a double and Tiffany Davis (Hawarden, Iowa) had a single and a run scored. South Dakota had three costly errors.
