Men's Golf Team Finishes 12th At Missouri Western State Invitational

Coyotes shoot two-day total of 672; paced by Beckman's two-round 164.

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The University of South Dakota men's team shot a two-day total of 672 (342-330) and finished 12th at the Missouri Western State College Invitational on April 16-17. Drury University shot a 600 to win the tournament held at the Fairview Golf Course. Drury's Kevin Hogg was the medallist, shooting a 144 for the tournament.

Scott Beckman, who shot a two-round total of 164 (81-83) was the Coyotes' top finisher in 45th place. Other individual results for South Dakota included Kent Peterson, 47th, 165 (84-81); Kyle Kelly, 57th, 169 (88-81); Aaron Baedke, 66th, 174 (89-85); and Jesse Talcott, 69th, 179 (93-86).
