Men's Golf Team 18th After First Day At District Five Invitational

Coyotes 32 strokes behind leader Drury College.

LEAWOOD, Kan. - The University of South Dakota men's golf team sits in 18th place after the first day of the NCAA Division II District V Invitational being held April 10-11 at the Ironhorse Golf Course in Leawood, Kan.

As a team, the Coyotes had a total of 338. The Coyotes were led by Scott Beckman and Kyle Kelly, both who shot 83 on Tuesday. Other individual totals included Jesse Talcott, 84; Kent Peterson, 88; and Aaron Baedke, 102.

Drury, with a total of 306, leads the tournament after the first day. Texas Wesleyan is second at 308.
