Coyote Men's Basketball Looks for Season Sweep of UMKC Saturday in the DakotaDome
VERMILLION, S.D. - The South Dakota men’s basketball team returns home to host travel partner UMKC Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in the DakotaDome. The game begins a stretch of six of the final seven at home for South Dakota. The Coyotes are going for the season sweep of the Kangaroos as they posted arguably the most dominating performance of the season Jan. 7 with a 76-57 win in Kansas City. The Coyotes, looking to end a three-game skid, enter with a 7-14 record and a 2-10 mark in conference play. UMKC is 9-15 and 3-9 in league pay. Coyotes Fall in Final Minute at Southern Utah, 62-60
CEDAR CITY, Utah – Down by seven with 5:58 remaining, the South Dakota men’s basketball team made a furious run, but came up just short as Southern Utah’s Jackson Stevenett hit two free throws with 18 seconds left giving SUU a 62-60 victory Saturday evening. With the loss, the Coyotes fell to 7-14 on the year and 2-10 in the Summit League. Southern Utah improved to 12-10 overall and 7-5 in league play.

TULSA, Okla. – League-leading Oral Roberts University posted a 97-64 victory over visiting University of South Dakota Thursday evening in the Mabee Center in Summit League action. With the loss, the Coyotes fell to 7-13 on the year and 2-9 in conference play, while ORU improved to 19-4 and 11-0 in league play.
