Jon Schemmel

Jon Schemmel is in his first year in sales for Coyote Sports Properties. A former minor league baseball player, Schemmel comes to the position after working in sales and recruiting in Minneapolis, Minn.

Schemmel played in the minor leagues for four years, including two with the New York Mets and two with the San Diego Padres. He advanced as high as the AAA level before injuries and surgeries ended his career in 2008.

Schemmel is a graduate of Eden Prairie (Minn.) High School and played baseball at the University of Minnesota for two years before transferring to Concordia-St. Paul.

He graduated from San Diego State in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in public administration.
