Gary Madsen

Gary Madsen is in his 16th year as a member of the University of South Dakota’s athletic staff in 2011-12. Madsen serves as Operations Manager for USD’s athletic facilities.

Madsen served as USD’s equipment manager from 1995-2000 before being named Operations Manager in 2000.

Madsen’s duties include coordinating the set-up for events in the DakotaDome and USD’s athletic facilties. In addition, Madsen supervises the DakotaDome custodial staff, which provides upkeep and maintenance of USD’s facilities.

Madsen lives in rural Burbank, S.D.
