Crystal Kruger

Crystal Kruger is in her first season as sports information coordinator at The University of South Dakota. She joins the Coyote family after spending two seasons at Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall, Minn.

While at Southwest, Kruger was the primary contact for volleyball, soccer, women’s basketball, wrestling and softball. During that time she worked two NCAA Division II volleyball tournaments and two NCAA Division II softball tournaments. She also hosted two Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference softball tournaments.

Prior to her arrival at Southwest, Kruger worked in the Buena Vista University sports information office and also served as the sports editor for the college newspaper.

A native of Brewster, Minn., Kruger is a 2006 graduate of Buena Vista University with a bachelor degree in mass communications. She earned her master’s degree in sports management from Southwest Minnesota State in 2008.
