Duling and Huschle Pace Coyote Track and Field at Day 1 of Frank Sevigne
LINCOLN, Neb. - Junior Alexa Duling tied a school record and freshman Analisa Huschle had a strong runner-up finish in the long jump to highlight competition for the South Dakota track and field teams at the opening day of the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational Friday in Lincoln, Neb. The meet features several quality athletes from Division I programs.

Coyote Men's Basketball Looks for Season Sweep of UMKC Saturday in the DakotaDome
VERMILLION, S.D. - The South Dakota men’s basketball team returns home to host travel partner UMKC Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in the DakotaDome. The game begins a stretch of six of the final seven at home for South Dakota. The Coyotes are going for the season sweep of the Kangaroos as they posted arguably the most dominating performance of the season Jan. 7 with a 76-57 win in Kansas City. The Coyotes, looking to end a three-game skid, enter with a 7-14 record and a 2-10 mark in conference play. UMKC is 9-15 and 3-9 in league pay. Coyote Football Announces 2012 Recruiting Class
VERMILLION, S.D. – University of South Dakota head football coach Joe Glenn announced Wednesday that 18 student-athletes have signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Coyote football team. USD’s fifth NCAA Division I recruiting class will begin its South Dakota career during the 2012-13 academic year.
